This Privacy Policy explains how Return My Cart collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website, mobile/PWA app, and related services (the "Service").

- Account information: name, email, role (Worker / Store / Admin), company name, password hash, and verification status.
- Operational data: store locations, cart-return submissions (including photos, geolocation, and timestamps), payment events, balances, payouts, and referral relationships.
- Device and usage: IP address, browser/user agent, pages viewed, and basic analytics events (via Google Analytics with IP anonymization).
- Payments: processed by third parties (e.g., Stripe). We receive limited tokens and metadata, not full card numbers.
- Communications: support email content and verification codes you submit or we send.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- Verify identity, prevent fraud, and resolve disputes between Workers and Stores.
- Process payments and payouts and maintain financial records.
- Send transactional emails (verification, receipts, notices) and limited service announcements.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.
3. Location Data
Workers may grant permission for the Service to access device location to display nearby Stores and to attach location to cart-return submissions. You can revoke this permission at any time in your browser/device settings; some features will not work without it.
4. How We Share Information
- Between Workers and Stores: limited information necessary to complete cart returns, such as Store locations, submission photos, and timestamps.
- Service providers: hosting, email (SMTP), analytics, mapping, and payment processors (e.g., Stripe), bound by appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- Legal and safety: if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences (e.g., theme), security, and analytics. Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymization. You can control cookies in your browser; disabling them may degrade Service functionality.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations (including tax and accounting), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Submission imagery and metadata may be retained for fraud-prevention and audit purposes.

The Service is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us so we can remove it.

- Update or correct your account information by signing in.
- Request deletion of your account by emailing support@returnmycart.com, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Opt out of non-essential communications using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
10. U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@returnmycart.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
11. International Users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S., which may not offer the same protections as your home jurisdiction.
12. Governing Law and Venue
This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Policy will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada (Las Vegas).

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
