The Solution
Return My Cart is a two-sided marketplace delivered as a Progressive Web App. Stores post locations and set their own per-cart rates. Workers discover those locations on a map and complete verified retrieval runs. The platform handles session tracking, photo verification, fraud detection, payments, and takes a fee on each transaction.
Every run tracked continuously from start to finish, confirming physical presence at the site.
Visual evidence of each run - required for every submission, analyzed for fraud signals.
Suspicious GPS tracks, reused photos, and anomalous patterns are flagged for manual review automatically.
How It Works
Worker Flow
- 1Open the PWA and view a map of participating store locations near you.
- 2Each location shows its per-cart pay rate and active status - transparent before you start.
- 3Tap Start Collection. GPS tracking begins.
- 4Gather carts, take a before photo, enter the cart count.
- 5Return carts to the drop zone and take an after photo.
- 6Submit the run. Once the store approves, your payout is released.
Store Flow
- 1Sign up and create a location profile with your cart drop-off area marked on the map.
- 2Set your per-cart rate and prepay a balance - you go live in minutes with no contract.
- 3Your location appears on the worker map. Gig workers find you and start runs.
- 4Review incoming submissions - photos, GPS track, cart count, and timestamps.
- 5Approve the run and payment is issued; reject it and nothing is charged.

Pricing & Fees
Return My Cart does not set cart prices. Each store controls its own per-cart rate and can adjust it at any time. The platform earns revenue from a two-sided 10% fee charged to both sides of the marketplace.
